Library Closing Dates and Time Changes for the Holidays

There will be some changes in the library's hours for the upcoming holidays. While our physical location will be closed you can still return items in the book drop just to the left of our entrance. You can also - always - check out great books, movies and music through our eMedia catalogs.

We've got Overdrive that's great for audiobooks and ebooks, Oneclick for many of your musical needs and we even have streaming movies available through Kanopy. There's even some great additional offerings for kids through our Tumblebooks Library, some of them interactive.

MM Family Films Continues...

At 1 PM we will watch as "Gru (Steve Carell), having forsaken a life of crime to raise Margo, Agnes and Edith, try to figure out how to provide for his new family. As he struggles with his responsibilities as a father, the Anti-Villain League -- an organization dedicated to fighting evil -- comes calling. The AVL sends Gru on a mission to capture the perpetrator of a spectacular heist, for who would be better than the world's greatest ex-villain to capture the individual who seeks to usurp his power." The movie will begin at 1 PM on Friday, July 28, 2017 with free popcorn provided.

Join the Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge

Are you a puzzle master? Do you want to earn cool prize? Prove your skills and earn your prize on Saturday, July 22 at 2 PM. The Maud Marks Library is challenging our adults to make puzzles. We will be separating out into teams and each team will be given a table with a puzzle. The first team finished will win a special prize. Join us for food, fun, conversation, and a little bit of competition.

Build a Better World Teen Time

During this Thursday's Teen Time (7/13/17) we'll be building a better world by crafting a toy which will then be donated to an Animal Shelter. It's a fun way to give back to the community and help build a better world. Come make some new friends and make something cool for a shelter animal who's looking for some love. Supplies are limited so registration is required, but you can sign up right here.

The Library Will Be Closed July 4, 2017

In observance of Independence Day Maud Marks Library will be closing at 5 PM on Monday, July 3, 2017 and will remain closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. We will return on Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 with normal business hours. Our eMedia is always available should you want something to read, listen to or watch.

Here's to wishing you and yours a safe and happy holiday!
