New Volunteer Orientation

Join us tonight, May 21st at 6:30 for our New Volunteer Orientation!  We accept volunteers of all ages, though any volunteers under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering.  Once you have attended the orientation and submitted your volunteer application, you are able to volunteer any time the library is open to the public!

Volunteers help with exciting programs such as our weekly Saturday @ the Movies, Patron Count Week, Tweeners, Friday Movie, and Tuesday Special Program!  This year we will be offering a very special Volunteer Summer Camp for a limited number of volunteers.  To find out more about Volunteer Summer Camp, please come to the New Volunteer Orientation or ask at the Information Desk.

If you are not able to attend the May 21st Orientation, the next New Volunteer Orientation will be Monday, June 4th at 6:30 PM.

New Volunteer Orientation

Do you want to help make your community a better place?  Volunteer at the library!  We are holding a New Volunteer Orientation TONIGHT at 6:30 PM in our Meeting Room.  You will learn all about the different tasks volunteers do here at the library, including our upcoming Patron Count Week!

It’s still not too late to sign up for Patron Count Week, either!  Patron Count Week takes place March 12-17th and we need volunteers each hour that the library is open to the public to help count customers as they enter the building.  For more information about Patron Count Week, or to sign up, visit the library’s Information Desk!
