Volunteer @ the Library

Do you want to do more to help your community?  Volunteer at the library!  We’ll be having a New Volunteer Orientation next Monday, April 7th at 6:30 PM.  You’ll learn more about the volunteer opportunities available at the library.  All ages are welcome, though anyone under the age of 12 must volunteer with a parent or guardian who has also attended the orientation.  You can pick up an application at the Information Desk!  

Beginning Excel

computer catsDo you need help understanding how to create and work with Excel spreadsheets?  Join us for our Beginning Excel class, Tuesday, March 18th at 10:00 AM.  The first six guests will be accommodated.  First come, first served.

CloverCarry the luck o’ the Irish with you with your very own St. Patrick’s Day cloverleaf charm.  We’ll be making them today at our Tuesday Craft at 4:30 PM!  All school-age children are welcome to attend.

Excel logoDo you want to learn more about Excel?  Come to our Computer Classes this Friday, March 7th!  At 1:00 we’ll be learning about Beginning Excel, and at 3:30 we’ll learn more about Excel at an Intermediate level.  All are welcome to attend.

Friday Computer Classes

keyboardFriday Computer Classes are back!  Join us this Friday, February 21st at 1:00 PM for Intermediate Computer and at 3:30 for Intermediate Internet.  The next Friday class will be on March 7th where we’ll be covering Beginning Excel at 1:00 PM and Intermediate Excel at 3:30 PM.

Savvy Stitchers

knittingDo you enjoy knitting, crochet, or other yarn arts?  Then you should stop by the Savvy Stitchers!  The Savvy Stitchers meet weekly on Thursday at 4:00 PM in our Magazine Area to work on yarn crafts and trade tips and techniques.  All ages are welcome to attend.  Whether you are a novice or an expert, the Savvy Stichers is a great place for you!

expecting BetterIf you or someone in your family is preparing to have a baby, then it’s very likely you’re doing a lot of reading about that very special event.  There are so many books out there on the topic…some humorous, some read like textbooks, and some a little in between.

Cuentos en Español

Join us for a new program starting this Wednesday, January 15th at 5:00 PM!  Every other Wednesday, we will be offering Cuentos en Español, a bilingual story time for children of all ages.  Anyone is welcome to attend, whether you know English or Spanish or just want to be exposed to both languages through fun stories and song!
