Rangoli-Inspired Art

Join us on Tuesday, June 11th at 3:00 PM for our special summer craft and learn how to make Rangoli-inspired art!  Rangoli, which is also known as kollam, is a folk art from India.  Rangoli are decorative designs made on floors consisting of bright colors.  The patterns are usually made with materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand, or flower petals.  We’ll be using colored rice for our Rangoli art.  If you’d like to learn more about Rangoli art, watch the instructional video!
