The Week @ the Katy Library – August 2nd Edition

SummerThis week marks the end of the summer teen and kids programs, but we’re just getting started for adults.  Starting this week, every other Thursday at 1:00pm we’ll have the Workforce Solutions back out to help you get prepared for job searching.  The first topic is “Resumes”.  On Saturday at 10:30am is our monthly Mystery Book Club discussing Bad Things Happen by Harry Dolan.  <

The Week @ the Katy Library – July 19th Edition

Family TreeAttention all genealogists: we have something new starting for you this week.  Every Monday at noon we’ll have a Genealogy Lunchbox program where you bring your lunch and we’ll bring the tools.  Besides getting together with other people researching their family trees, you’ll be able to use laptops to access Ancestry.com and other internet sites as well as pick up blank forms and information to help you.

The Week @ the Katy Library – July 12th Edition

RainAfter the rain blows through this weekend, we’ll have something every single day to thrill you.  Monday has our Monday @ the Movies family selection at 3:30pm.  Tuesday has the kids summer insect program at 2:00pm (get your tickets the day before).  Wednesday has a teen summer craft program at 2:00pm featuring glass magnets, rock worlds, monster pillows, and solar smores!  Thursday has one-on-one computer help at 11:00am.  Friday has computer classes taught in English at 1:30pm and in Spanish at 4:30pm.  <
