Kids, do you read a lot? I mean, A LOT! You should be signed up for summer reading at the Katy Library. If you read 100 books by the end of our Summer Reading Program (August 10), you become a member of our 100 Book Club. You'll be issued a membership card, and this year you'll also receive an aviator hat. Keep reading!

Hot topics have a way of getting a conversation started - for better or worse. Do you ever feel you don't know enough about an issue to really discuss it with someone else? We have series of books on almost any topic you could imagine that give intelligent viewpoints for every side of the issue. Look for the At Issue or Opposing Viewpoints series on the topic of your choice.
