Edible Gluten Free No Cook Playdough

Up Date 2/10: gluten free playdough and kids

Gluten-free play dough was pretty fun. We had a great time with the lumpy stick mess I made.  We used natural spices and veggies to tint the dough. Turmeric was my favorite because of it cam out so bright.  We also used the juice left in a can of sliced beets, paprika and cocoa for pink, orange, and brown.

Tattoo Playdough

Tattooed playdough making and dividing.

You should tattoo your play dough too.  This last Thursday here at the library we carefully tattooed our play dough with temporary tattoos. It was a lot of fun.  In the name of science we tried three different  home made dough recipes.   At the end of the day the Salt dough was the most popular.

A good time was had by all.  If you didn't get to join us and you now wish you had click on the links below to see the original recipes.  I hope you can enjoy them at home.  Join us next time at 10:30 am Thursday, January 23 for Taekwondo.
