Infant Exploreres

Sensory Tubs Infant Explorers Thursday, November 5th  at 10:30 AM.  We will be playing with sensory tubs.  

The First Thursday of every month we have our infant explorers program.  Any manner of messes can be found here on this day. We try to introduce projects that specifically embrace the senses.  The more they explore and investigate the better!  I hope you can join us.

Pirate Ships! AHOY

Arrg Maties! Today we built our very own pirate ship!  We used the template I found on Red Ted Art blog, then we used all the different crafts we used through out the week and some toys we had laying around to compliment our pirate ship.

The ghost from our Wednesday Toddler Time Craft, the foamy ocean was made in our Preschool Picassos program and the rest was from Red Ted.

Preschool Picassos: Web Art

Preschool Picassos is every third Thursday of the month at 10:30 AM.  This week we will be making web art.  That is Art inspired by spider webs not techy new modern art on the interwebs.  Wear your least favorite clothes because we're brining on the mess.

Shark Craft for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Today's Toddler Time craft was so popular we ran out!   Here is the template to

 print out if you want to make it from home. It is a simple shark outline you cut out and color.  You can cut out teeth from the leftover scraps, the more scraggly the teeth the better.   

Toddler Time is geared towards children  ages 18 months to 3 years old.  There are two each week on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM.  Make sure you get a ticket from

Preschool story time Tuesdays morning 10:30 AM we are reading books about our Super dads!  Make sure to get a ticket at the information desk before heading in.

Amazing Japan! PreschoolStorytime Tuesday, May 20th

May is Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month, Preschool Storytime is celebrating Japan this Thursday, May 20th at 10:30 AM. Ms. Andleeb with be reading books and inviting you to participate in a craft!  Make sure to get a ticket from the information desk and join us in the meeting room.  Preschool Storytime is geared towards children ages 3-6.

Toddler Time, Wednesday 10:30 & 11:00


Join us for Toddler Time every Wednesday morning.  We have two programs at 10:30 & 11:00 for children 18 months to 3 years old. Tickets for these programs are required for each toddler, tickets are available starting at 10:00 AM at the information desk on Wednesday morning.  A craft is also available in the children's area.  

 

Chihuly Art Preschool Picassos

Picture of two peices of art work by Dave Chihuly.Join us 10:30AM Thursday, April 18th for Chihuly inspired art project.  We will have coffee filters and markers for our canvas and painting materials.  After the filters are filled in with colors we will spray them down with heavy laundry starch. After they dry you can glue them down to create a beautiful installation.  This program is intended for children ages 3 +.
