Maker Baking: Holiday Cupcakes from Scratch!

Tweens had a great time today making holiday cupcakes from scratch! Everyone took turns adding and learning how to mix the ingredients, and of course enjoying the tasty fruits of their labor. Many thanks to our teen volunteers that made it all manageable. Be sure to check our events calendar for more Maker programs and crafts!

Thanks for a Great Open House!

A big THANK YOU to our great community and many guests for making our iMaker Space Open House a marvelous success! Without you it wouldn't have been possible. We had a great turnout and look forward to utilizing out iMaker space for awesome programs in the future.

Join us for our next STEAM craft on December 14th at 4:30pm in the meeting room when we'll be making Cosmic Glue Suncatchers!

The day is near at hand! All day December 3rd come join us for a variety of activities including a guest speaker, robot demos, crafts and more, all to celebrate our new iMaker space! Events will be held all over the library, so come create, invent, learn and have fun!

Thanksgiving Holidays!

Just a heads-up that the Evelyn Meador Library, and all Harris County Public Library Branches, will be closing early Wednesday, November 23rd at 5pm, and will remain closed until Monday, November 28th, for Thanksgiving. We will still be offering our regular programs and classes throughout the first half of the week.

We all hope you have a safe and amazing Thanksgiving!
