We're happy to announce our upcoming Friends of the Library Book sale!  Please join us on Saturday, September 17, Monday  September 19 and Tuesday September 20, 2011 in the Meeting Room. We have a huge selection from popular fiction, to non fiction, as well as a large selection of craft books. Remember, all proceeds support those childrens programs that you've come to love!

Read Across America Day in honor of Dr. Seuss' Birthday
We will read Dr. Seuss books at 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.  Come
dressed as a Dr. Seuss character for a chance to win a prize!

Monday, March 7 @ 4:30 PM for ages 5 - 8 years.
Come play Children's Games like Twister, Operation Hulk, Candyland and
much more.

Wednesday, March 9 @ 4:30 PM for ages 8 - 12 yrs.
Club Kids will play a variety of games like Battle Ship, Twister, and much
more.

 

Join us on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 1pm to 5 pm for a visit from Santa! Be sure to bring your cameras, as Santa will read to and pose with all his biggest fans!! There is no charge, however, Santa asks that you bring a non- perishable food item and/or a new or gently used book for H.A.A.M

Come join The Stash Sisters, the local chapter of ATHA (Association of Traditional Hooking Artists) in the Meeting Room. The Stash Sisters are 20 members strong, and hook rugs in a number of styles, including primitive and fine cut. They would be happy to share their craft with both newcomers and old hands alike. Meetings take place on most  Thursdays, from 10 am to 2:30 pm and also on the 1st Saturday of each month.  Please call the library for details!
