Magic Show Fun

We had lots of fun with "The Joker" and his magic show last Saturday!  If you missed our program last Saturday, do not despair - you will have a chance to have fun with us on March 23rd at our Fancy Nancy Tea Party.

Fancy Nancy Tea Party

Ooh la la!  Dress up in your tutus, your beads, your boas, your bows, and join us for a Fancy Nancy Tea Party to celebrate Maggie's birthday!  We will make necklaces, enjoy bubbles, learn French words, and have tea and delectable (that's fancy for yummy) treats.  March 23rd at 2 PM.

Magic Show

Come see "The Joker" perform magic tricks on Saturday, February 23rd, at 2 PM. The show is for children, ages 7 and up. Adults may attend the show, if space permits.

We Are Collecting Butterflies!

Here at the Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library we are collecting butterflies for The Butterfly Project at the Houston Holocaust Museum.  Bring us your homemade butterflies and we will hang them on the tree behind the circulation desk before taking them down to the Holocaust Museum in March.

Happy Valentine's Day!

At the Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library we love our patrons!  We hope your Valentine's Day is full of sweetness.

Donate Your Tissue Boxes

We will be taking tissue box donations for the next month. We are planning to use empty tissue boxes for a children's craft. Please drop all donations off at the front desk. Thank you!

Create a Vision Board

Have fun mapping out your future, remain true to your self, and define your goals with a vision board! In this TEEN program we will be using the art of collage to create vision boards we can take home with us. Imagine that the first thing you see in the morning is a visual reminder of your passions and goals! Join us on Saturday, January 26th, from 2 PM to 4 PM to create your vision board.

Santa Pictures Are Ready!

Santa Claus pictures are ready to be downloaded from our Flickr account.

Make a Bird Feeder

Do you love birds?  Do you want to see more birds in your neighborhood?  Would you like to treat birds to a tasty treat?  Then join us on January 12th, from 2 PM to 3 PM to make a simple bird feeder.  This program is for children and teens.
