PRESCHOOL STORY TIME: TUESDAYS @ 1:30 PM

Three to six year old children and parents are invited to join us for Preschool Story Time on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm. Senior Children's Assistant Kimberly Tiller shares her favorite stories, old and new! Plus we share songs, fingerplays and occassional crafts!

*Open Fridays 1-6 pm & Sats. 10 am-5 pm!

On Fridays, the Galena Park Library is now open from 1-6 pm. We are also open 10 am to 5 pm on Saturdays!  We welcome you to come in on Friday afternoons and Saturdays during the summer to enjoy your local Library. Election Day @ Your Library!

It's official! The North Channel Public Library is the location of one of the newest voting precincts! If your yellow and white Voter's Registration card lists Precinct 0460, you are one of the lucky ones who will be voting on Election Day, Tues. November 4th from 7 am to 7 pm at 15741 Wallisville Rd., Houston, TX 77049. This Precinct is bounded by Wallisville Rd. to the South, Sheldon Rd. to the East, HWY 90 and the Miller Roads on the North and the City of Houston West Canal on the West.

The League of Women Voters of Houston Education Fund makes available the LWV Voters Guide at the North Channel Branch Library. This nonpartisan election material in newspaper format includes "Things Voters Should Know" about the candidates running for office in the Election.  Please pick up your copy from the newspaper rack inside the Library.  For more information, you may go to www.lwvhouston.org

Basic Computer Classes @ Your Library

Are you an adult who needs to learn computer basics?
