back to school!

A few good school stories to start the year-

It's not too late!

There's still time!

Saturday is the last day of the Summer Reading Club, but you can still join and then log in all the books you have read over the summer (or at least 10 of them or 500 minutes worth or reading) to get your certificate and free book. Make sure you do it by Saturday Aug 11!

Peter and the Starcatchers

Perhaps you watched the Tony Awards last weekend? and perhaps you noticed that a play called "Peter and the Starcatcher" won five (!) Tonys? and perhaps you said to yourself, isn't that the name of a book? and the answer to that question is yes.

Spring has sprung!

So it is officially springtime! There are lots of stories about spring, but here are some you might not have found if you were looking:

Erin go Bragh!

Beannachtai Na Feile Padraig Oraibh!

Time for the wearin' of the green! Get out your harp and shillelagh. Bake some soda bread and cook up some colcannon. ANd, of course, read some Irish stories!

For something about St Patrick, how about The Last Snake in Ireland by Sheila MacGill-Callahan.
