Book Buddies Little Buddy Applications Now Being Accepted

Applications for Little Buddies in Grades K-3 will be accepted until September 2nd. If the number of applicants exceed the number of Big Buddy volunteers, Little Buddies will be selected by a random lottery. 

Congratulations to our Adult SRP drawing winner!

Congratulations to Ada Culpepper, the winner of the 2016 Adult Summer Reading Program drawing. Ms. Culpepper had her choice of a free book or a Baldwin Boettcher T-Shirt. To enter the drawing she had to sign up for the Summer Reading program, read and log at 10 books between June 6th and August 6th. 

There is still time this week to register and log books/activities for the 2016 Summer Reading Program. Baldwin Boettcher is a Pokéstop!

The library is not just a place to get free books. Our branch is also a Pokéstop! Come in an load up on Pokéballs, potions and all the important items you need to become a Pokémon master. Once you've refreshed your supply, hunt for some new monsters, take a picture of any you find and send them to us to share on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Happy Pokémon hunting!

Teen Movie and Root Beer Floats

Kids, 10 and up join us at the library today for our Teen throw back Thursday movie and Root Beer Floats today, June 23rd.  Today's selection is Back to the Future, Rated PG for some mature scenes. No registration required. Meet us at 2 pm in the Meeting Room. 

Congratulations to our Street Fighter Tournament Winner

Congratulations to (Code Name)  "Cheeto Guy" the winner of the Baldwin Boettcher 2016 Street Fighter Tournament.  He was the final player in a double elimination tournament that started with 17 total players. Cheeto Guy won a goody bag which included a gift certificate to Game Stop. The Street Fighter Tournament was the first in a series of Teen Summer programs at the Baldwin Boettcher Library. NEW Beginning Spanish Class at the Library!

Have you ever wanted to learn another language? Join us at the Baldwin Boettcher Library every Thursday from 4:30 - 6:00 pm beginning June 7th for this a FREE beginning Spanish class. Mercer Botanic Gardens Reopened to the Public

Mercer Botanic  Gardens East Side reopened to the public on Wednesday, May 25th, after being closed for more than four weeks due to severe flood damage. Regular hours and programs have resumed.
