Book Sale This Weekend

book saleLooking to give some books this holiday season?  Come shop at the Friends of the North Channel Library Book Sale! The book sale will be this Friday ,May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd during the library's open hours.  All proceeds from the sale go directly to the North Channel Library to fund various library needs, such as summer performers, books and other items.  Don't miss our book sale this weekend!

Scrapbooking @ North Channel Library

Come to our monthly "Scrapbooking with Mia" program.  This month we will meet on Saturday, April 18th from 10 am to 3 pm in the meeting room. Don't forget to bring your photos. See you there!

Library Closed for Easter Holiday

easter bunnyThe Easter Bunny is coming around the bend and that means the library will be closed in observance of the Easter holiday!  The library will close at 5 pm on Thursday, April 2nd and reopen at 1 pm Monday, April 6th.  North Channel staff wish all of you a hoppy, happy holiday!

Faithful Paws @ North Channel Library

faithful pawsIt's time for another visit from our favorite furry friends-Faithful Paws!  Faithful Paws is an organization that brings dogs who love to hear kids read to them!  Help build reading confidence and cuddle a new pal at the same time!  Join Faithful Paws this Saturday, March 21st from 2 pm to 3 pm.

STEAM Camp: Hour of Code

frozen codeT is for technology!  Join us on Monday, February 23rd @ 6 pm for our second session of STEAM Camp.  We will be learning how to code with Frozen and Angry Birds!  This program is for children 6 and up and is limited to 20 participants.  Pick up a free ticket at the front desk.

Ask A Lawyer

Our popular "Ask A Lawyer" program will be held this Saturday, February legal7th from 11 am - 12:30 pm in our Meeting Room.  This free legal clinic is presented by Angela D. Johnson, Attorney at Law.  Ms. Johnson will be answering legal questions and addressing issues that are important to the community.  Please join us for a chance for some free legal guidance.

Tax Help @ North Channel Library

taxesIt’s tax time again and that means it’s time to welcome back AARP to the North Channel Library.  AARP will be offering free tax assistance every Thursday from 12pm to 4pm through April 9th. Sign-up begins at 10am Thursday mornings only.  Please bring your tax return from last year as well as your W-2's and other papers for this year.
