Want to be a library superhero? Come shop at the Friends of the North Channel Library Book Sale! The book sale will be this Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11thbook sale during the library's open hours.  All proceeds from the sale go directly to the North Channel Library to fund various library needs, such as summer performers, books and other items.  Don't miss our book sale this weekend!

Summer is in full swing and that means our Summer Reading Program is full steam ahead.  With programs for babies, children, teens, and adults, the library has something for everyone!  You have until August 8 to record either the number of books you read or the amount of time you spend reading. And don't forget to check out our

Faithful Paws @ North Channel Library

faithful pawsIt's time for another visit from our favorite furry friends-Faithful Paws!  Faithful Paws is an organization that brings dogs who love to hear kids read to them!  Help build reading confidence and cuddle a new pal at the same time!  Join Faithful Paws this Saturday, June 20th from 2 pm to 3 pm.

Ask A Lawyer @ North Channel

legalOur popular "Ask A Lawyer" program will be held this Saturday, June 13th from 11 am - 12:30 pm in our Meeting Room.  This free legal clinic is presented by Angela D. Johnson, Attorney at Law.  Ms. Johnson will be answering legal questions and addressing issues that are important to the community.  Please join us for a chance for some free legal guidance.

Coming Soon to a Library Near You: Summer Reading Program!

summer reading programOur dedicated superheroes (A.K.A. super volunteers) have been hard at work getting the North Channel Library ready for our 2015 Summer Reading Program.  As you might guess, our theme this year is Reading is My Superpower!  Our program will start June 1st and run until August 8th. It is open for all ages, babies to adults. Be sure to check back at this same bat channel on June 1st to sign up!
