Storytime during Christmas holidays

Need a break from the holiday madness?  Take a break from the hustle and bustle at the stores and head to the library for storytime with your little ones!  During the Christmas break, the library will continue to offer our weekly storytimes.

Santa visits Galena Park!

Santa made an early visit to Galena Park to make sure the children were staying on the nice list!  Luckily, our Galena Park kids have been extra good this year!  Santa was so pleased he stayed for crafts and cookies with everyone!  Thank you to Santa and the Galena Park Friends Group for making our Christmas party so much fun!

Santa Claus is coming to Galena Park!

You better watch out.  You better not cry.  You better not pout, I'm telling you why.  Santa Claus is coming to Galena Park Library!  Come meet your favorite jolly old elf and make some great Christmas crafts this Thursday, December 15th from 4 pm - 5 pm.  You'll get a chance to tell the big guy what you want for Christmas.  Don't forget to bring your camera!  Ho! Ho! Ho!

Holiday Spirit @ North Channel Library!

Here at North Channel Library we love the Christmas season!  We've finished decorating our big tree to put everyone in the holiday spirit.  We also have a display of popular holiday books for adults and children.  Find a new cookie recipe, read a chilling Christmas mystery, or snuggle down with the kids and read a new holiday classic.  We can meet your seasonal reading wants and needs here!

And don't forget, if you've been extra good this year and Santa has already given you an e-reader, then you will want to attend our E-Books and Digital Library class this Wednesday evening at 6 pm.  Advance registration is required.  You can call us to register at 281-457-1631.
