"Ask-A-Lawyer" Program

lawyerOur popular "Ask A Lawyer" program will be held this Saturday, March 8th from 11 am - 12:30 pm in our Meeting Room.  This free legal clinic is presented by Angela D. Johnson, Attorney at Law.  Ms. Johnson will be answering legal questions and addressing issues that are important to the community.  Please join us for a chance for some free legal guidance.

Train To Be An ESL Tutor @ North Channel Library

tutor training Have you ever thought about becoming an ESL Tutor?  The North Channel Library will host an ESL Tutor Training on Saturday, March 29th from 10am to 3:30pm.  You can volunteer to tutor at any branch library and all materials are provided.  Please register for this training by calling the library at 281-457-1631 and help someone reach their goals.

Board Game Day!

board gameStart off the week with some gaming fun! Join us for Board Game Day at North Channel Library on Monday, February 17th at 4:30pm. We'll set out a variety of traditional board games for you to play or bring your own! Music and refreshments too!

LEGO Play @ North Channel Library

LegoCalling all Lego loving kids!  This Thursday, February 13th @ 4:30 PM, come to the library and play Life of George with Lego blocks. Build and scan your project for a score or play for fun! Free play with blocks for younger children. Groups please call.

Dream of Doors @ North Channel Library

dream of doorsCelebrate Black History Month at the library with a special performance by Express Children's TheaterExpress Children's Theater will present Dream of Doors, based on the lives of many historical figures who helped open doors for those who came after them.  Don't miss this fully staged show Wednesday, February 12th at 4:30 PM in the Children's area.  Call the library for more details.
