Clifford is Back!

Clifford was not feeling well and had to go to the Doctor.  He is better now, and looks  forward to seeing all of his friends.  Stop by the children's area to say hi.

I have listed items that are available through your Harris County Branch below.

It's Time to Plan for Success

To be successful in school it is important to be organized. But, it's not an easy task for young people who have to deal with schoolwork, friends, activities, chores, rooms, backpacks, lockers, desks, and what about fun? No wonder it becomes difficult for children to keep track of everything in their lives!

Rave Reviews for The Emerald Atlas

I have been listening to,The Emerals Atlas, and it's something that I think you will enjoy. This is a paced fantasy fiction book that will grab your attention and leave you wanting more. What makes the audio edition so special is that it's read by Jim Dale...enough said.

Pig Out on Reading!

Come and meet Daisy II the pig! Her friend and owner Farmer Minor does storytelling about Daisy's formative years (all true) with Farmer & Mrs. Minor. We share Daisy noises, give Daisy a treat, and talk about Daisy's pampered porcine life of reading and love of “Pig Books” and Libraries. Farmer Minor brings his rocking chair, many of Daisy's newspaper articles on posters and of course, many of their favorite pig books. At the end of the program, following the Daisy pledge, all are able to pet Daisy.
