Glitter, Glue and Spiders - What Fun!

Children made spider Halloween cards with glitter during this evenings Family Storytime program.  Check out what will be taking place in the weeks to come.

  •  Next week, (Monday, October 18th @ 7:00 pm) we will have a special program on bats presented by Jesse Jones Park.  This program will be in place of our regally scheduled storytime program.

Pokemon Club: Thursday, September 30th @ 4:00 pm

Children ages 7 to 10 years old are invited to join our Pokémon Club!  
This meeting will be a great opportunity to meet other players and share ideas.  Please bring you Nintendo DS, trading cards, books and anything else that you would like to discuss. A small snack will be provided.

Super Harvest Moon: September 22, 2010:

According to NAASA, "For the first time in almost 20 years, northern autumn is beginning on the night of a full Moon. The coincidence sets the stage for a "Super Harvest Moon" and a must-see sky show to mark the change of seasons."

Today also marks an important occasion as many Asian cultures will celebrate the end of their harvest as part of their Mooncake Festival. This is sure to be a spectacular night for anyone who takes time to view this rare celestial event.

Family Game Night & Craft: September 13th @ 7pm

The library will be closed on Sunday, September 5th and Monday, September 6th in observance of Labor Day.

Our Next program will be held on Monday, September 13th @ 7pm.

Craft: Children and tweens will have a chance to create an artistic graphic design.
