Family Storytime with an Emphasis on Little Ones

Rock-a-Bye Readers  is a mixed-age program geared toward babies and early-toddlers.

When: Fridays at 1pm.

This storytime has been created as a gentle early-learning experience focusing on the interaction between parent and child. We will enjoy sing-alongs, book sharing, and play.

We recommend that parents register each child who will attend the program; doing so will ensure your space in the program for a one-month block.  The recommended registration will reopen on the last Friday of each month.

Welcome to Storytime

Hurricane Harvey has affected families throughout Houston, and we are here to support you.  For those of you who are new to our library, I would like to take a moment to familiarize you with the storytime options that we have available at this branch.

We offer a variety of age-specific and mixed-age storytime programs designed to develop your child’s early literacy skills throughout each stage of the first years.   Please be aware that space is limited, and room capacity as determined by the fire marshal as well as our desire to provide high quality programing.  For this reason, we highly recommend registering for program that have this option available.
