Genealogical Research Demo

Climbing your family tree? Do you want to consult the U.S. Census? Come and learn how to use HeritageQuest and Ancestry.com. The class will be held in the Barbara Bush Library Friends Computer Lab on Tuesday, March 23 at 11:00 AM.
These classes are popular so registration is required. You can register by going online to www.hcpl.net (click on Events and then Barbara Bush Library) or by calling the library at 281-376-4610. We are now offering this database demo on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 11:00. Green Thumb Gardening Series

The Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service and the Harris County Master Gardeners are pleased to offer the Green Thumb  Gardening Series of lectures at the Barbara Bush Branch  Library.

Come and learn on February 11 from 6:30-8:30 pm. This series will be held  on the 2nd Thursday of the month.

The topic for February is “Spring  Vegetables Gardening.”

Kindle E-Book Demo

Did you purchase a Kindle recently? If you have a Kindle, Kindle Fire, Kindle Keyboard, Kindle Touch or Kindle Paperwhite you can download e-books from the Harris County Public Library’s Digital Media Catalog.
Come to the session February 9 at 11:00 to learn how to download E-Books to your device. The Kindle demo will be held in the 2nd floor Barbara Bush Library Friends Computer Lab.
Please bring your library card, cables and passwords.

Green Thumb Gardening Series 2016
