Job Search Workshops are Coming in January

High Meadows will be hosting job search workshops every Wednesday in January starting at 10 am. Join us January 6 to learn about resumes and applications and throughout the month to develop the skills you need to get the jobs you want.

Come celebrate national gaming day at High Meadows.

High Meadows will be celebrating National Gaming Day on Saturday, November 14 from noon until 4. Come join us, play games or just hang out. We look forward to seeing you there.

The Friends of High Meadows Branch Library will be holding a book sale on Saturday, October 31 from 10am to 3pm. So come find a good book. Wear a costume. Have a ghoulishly good time. We look forward to seeing you here.

ENVISION! DRAW! CREATE!

Feeling artistic? Create a piece of Native American-themed art for our colossal creativity contest. Be creative. We accept all kinds of art. Winners will have their works displayed in the teen area during the month of November. Please keep all works appropriate and have them submitted no later than October 28.

FUN WITH FEATHER FANS

As Hispanic herritage month draws to a close, High Meadows' teens will be creating feather fans on monday, October 12 at 3:15.  Come get with the program and go home with a feather fan.

READ BEYOND THE MOVIE

Teen Read Week is coming up this October 18-24.  On October 22 we're going to be exploring The Book Beyond the Movie.  Join us at 3:15 for discussion of the book and stick around at 4:00 to watch the movie based on the book.  Come talk to David for more details so you can be sure to read up and be ready.

Hispanic heritage month continues this coming Monday as High Meadows teens make flowers from tissue paper and pipe cleaners. We look forward to seeing you here Monday October 5 at 3:15.

At storytime this morning, Mandy read We’re going on a bear hunt and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see? and sang the Willie the Worm song. Then everyone made bear masks.
