The Friends of the Crosby Library will hold their quarterly book sale Friday, June 1 from 1 pm to 6 pm and Saturday, June 2 from 10 am to 5 pm. This is a great opportunity to stock up on books, videos, DVD's, etc. for your summer pleasure- without breaking your budget!

Join the Crosby Friends of the Library as they welcome our new County Commissioner of Precinct 2, Jack Morman. Everyone is invited to this regularly scheduled Friends meeting at 1 pm on May 14.

On Monday, April 9 at 6:30 the Friends of the Crosby Library will hold their annual meeting. Judge Don Coffey will share "A Day on the Bench: How he works with teens and what new changes he has made in the truancy laws." He will speak of new projects and how they affect the community. The more we learn about ways in which to build our community, the stronger we will be for each other. Please plan to attend and bring your friends and neighbors. Refreshments will be served.

Pat Fancher has retired after 22 years with Harris County! She will be sorely missed at the Crosby Branch Library where her warmth and smile have meant so much to all. We wish her well and hope to see her back as a volunteer! Happy trails, Pat!
