2014 Children's SRP Kick-Off Party

srp 2014 kick off partyThis past Monday we celebrated the 2014 Kids Corner Summer Reading Program Kick-Off Party.  It was a GREAT success thanks to some 100 parents who registered their children for the 2014 SRP, while 157 children decorated nifty tote bags to use to take their books on-the-go.  Great fun was had by all!

Student Symposium

Lone Star College-CyFair invites you to the 2014 Student Symposium. All LSC-CyFair campus' faculty, staff, students and the community are welcome.

The Student Symposium is a conference for students to showcase their research, art, creative writing and academic work in a formal conference setting to an audience of students, faculty and other supporters. It is open to all LSCS-CyFair, Fairbanks and Cypress Center students and accepts proposals from any discipline.

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-8:00pm
• Friday-Saturday: 10:00am-6:00pm
• Sunday: 1:00am-6:00m

Read Across America Family Story Time

Join us this Tuesday evening to celebrate Read Across America Day with a special Dr. Seuss themed Family Story Time. Attendees will take the Reader’s oath and receive a Read Across America Certificate. 

Family Story Time features stories, songs, fingerplays and occasional crafts. The session is limited to 35 children ages 2-7 years old.
