Financial advisors from Edward Jones will be presenting "Social Security: Your Questions Answered". This free program will discuss topics such as retirement income plans, when to start taking benefits, and taxes. Come join us in our Meeting Room on Thursday, March 29 at 11:30 A.M. for this free program!  

Master Gardener at the Kingwood Library

Family Search Genealogy Workshop

Karen Rasmussen, member of The Humble Area Genealogy Society (THAGS), will be offering instruction and tips on how to navigate the Houston Family Search Database. This free program will be held in the Children's Activity Room on Saturday, February 11 at 10:30 am.  No registration is required.

Movies to Books... Off to Read the Wizard!

The Kingwood Library Book Group starts off the New Year with a discussion of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum. Originally published in 1900, it was the first American fairy tale, stirring imaginations of young and old alike for over four generations. Come join us on Monday evening, January 23, at 7 pm in the library's meeting room for a lively discussion of this American classic!

Tax Forms On the Way!!

The first batch of IRS tax forms has arrived at the Kingwood Library!  Patrons needing tax forms can locate them on the first floor in the circulation area, behind the public computers. The library does not receive all tax forms. Patrons are encouraged to go to www.irs.gov for IRS forms and publications not at the library.
