Last year Harris County Public Library checked out over 1 Million E-Media titles.  Want to enjoy the freedom of checking out books and movies from home?  Join us this Saturday at 3:30 pm to learn about all the E-Media Harris County has to offer.

Merry Christmas an Happy Holidays!  We hope everyone has a safe and fun Holiday weekend!  We will be closed December 23  through December 26 and open on Tuesday, December 27 at 10 am.

3-D Printing Demo tonight!

Come one, Come all to our 3-D printing demonstration at 6:30 pm tonight!  We'll also have some 3-D printed give aways!  All ages are welcome!

Wii U Gaming

Come to Teen Time this Monday at 4:00 pm to play some games on the Wii-U!  All teens 10-18 are welcome!  There will be cocoa and cookies!

Family Movie!

Come and join us on Monday at 4 pm for a family movie.  Everyone's invited to enjoy the adventures of a young boy through his life growing up in the jungle with bears, wolves, orangutans, pythons, and tigers.  This live-action version of a classic Disney film is a shoe in for Oscar nominations.  

Middle School Spot Maker: Paper Circuits!

Join us on Wednesday, November 16 at 5 pm to make paper circuits!  Turn a piece of card stock into a circuit board and make it light up!  All kids 10-14 are welcome and snacks will be provided.

Post Halloween Fun!

The kids will all be coming down from their sugar highs and the craziness of Halloween will be past, so bring your kids in to make a painting of the fall we never really get to see here in Houston.  All kids are welcome to come to the Tuesday Craft to make Q-tip Painting fall trees.

Tabletop Gaming

All teens are invited to solve a mystery, knock down a tower, become a successful mad scientist, and join the resistance on Monday, Oct. 24 at 4 pm.  We'll be playing Clue, Jenga, Nefarious, and The Resistance.  There will be snacks.

Eats & Treats Cooking Club!

  Do you want to learn the life skill of cooking before moving out of your parent's house?  Or do you like making yummy treats for you and your friends?   Come out to learn how to make Any-Fruit-Will-Do Muffins on Monday, October 17 at 4 pm as part of the Eats & Treats Cooking Club.  All teens 12-18 are welcome!
