Tabletop Gaming

All teens are invited to solve a mystery, knock down a tower, become a successful mad scientist, and join the resistance on Monday, Oct. 24 at 4 pm.  We'll be playing Clue, Jenga, Nefarious, and The Resistance.  There will be snacks.

Eats & Treats Cooking Club!

  Do you want to learn the life skill of cooking before moving out of your parent's house?  Or do you like making yummy treats for you and your friends?   Come out to learn how to make Any-Fruit-Will-Do Muffins on Monday, October 17 at 4 pm as part of the Eats & Treats Cooking Club.  All teens 12-18 are welcome!

Teen Read Week Monster Fest

Come to Monster Fest on Monday, October 10 at 4:00 pm to celebrate Teen Read Week. We'll be making monster crafts and more. All teens 12-18 are welcome!

Chess Games

Come and play chess on our tournament boards this Friday, September 23 at 3 pm.  This program is open to all adults.

Be the Peace - Be the Hope

Come on Tuesday, September 20 at 4:30 pm to take part in a very special Tuesday Craft. Be the Peace - Be the Hope is a partnership between many different organizations in the Houston area to spread a message of hope here in Houston and in refugee camps around the world. Come and decorate a piece of canvas to send to a refugee camp in Africa where it will be combined with other canvas squares to cover refugee tents and spread hope. All kids ages 8-18 are welcome.

Happy 100th Birthday Roald Dahl!

Come celebrate the 100th birthday of the man who gave us Willie Wonka, a Big Friendly Giant, a girl with extraordinary powers, and many more unforgettable characters on Tuesday, September 13 at 4:30 pm.  We'll have several crafts inspired by Roald Dahl's extraordinary tales.  All kids 8-12 are welcome.

Middle School Spot Maker Project

The Middle School Spot Maker project this week is throwies. Make some of these magnetic LED lights to brighten up your locker or bedroom! All kids and teens 10-13 are welcome this Wednesday, August 31 at 5 pm.

Buttons Galore!

Design and Create your own buttons to decorate your backpack at Teen Time on Monday, August 22 at 4:00 pm. We'll be using computers to create your own design and then using our in house button maker. All teens 12- 18 are welcome.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

A long time ago in a library quite near,
a librarian planned a Star Wars program.
All the Jedi and Sith were invited to watch the
latest film and enjoy snacks  and prizes.
The journey commenced at 3:00 pm on Monday, August 15.
