Hungers Games: The Movie

By now most people know that The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is going to be made into a movie set to come out on March 23rd, 2012.  Fans of the series have been going crazy because there STILL IS NO CAST!!! (or maybe it's just me that's going crazy)

Anyways, I thought that I would put together my fantasy cast.  So here's who I picked (and why):

Survival

Alright, I am going on a survival training trip with my Karate class this weekend and decided it might be good to write one more blog entry in case I don't come back. :)  So of course, what am I going to write about?  Survival stories!

Let's start off with the obvious:

MegaMovie

On Monday, February 28th we are going to watch a movie about a big blue evil genius.  Or is he evil?   And I guess genius is kinda debatable.  No it's not Papa Smurf!  Remember  I said BIG blue guy.  Oh well if you're interested and a teenager, show up at 4pm.  We'll have snacks  for free of course.  Hope to see you there!

Rock our at the library!

Come on Monday February 21st at 4pm to rock out on our Wii!  All teens are welcome!  Snacks will of course be provided, for what's a teen program without food?

Cafe Needle

Come and join Cafe needle, our new knitting club for tweens and teens.  It will meet once a month on Wednesdays at 5pm.  Come check it our for the first meeting on January 26th.  See you there!

Create your own iScarf!

Come on Wednesday January 19th at 5pmto create your own iScarf!  Ever wish you had a pocket somewhere in all your winter gear just for your iPod or cell phone?  Well now you can.  Just show up and make your own!

Tie-Dye Your Shoe Laces

On Wednesday January 12th, we are going to be tie-dyeing shoelaces as part of our Tweeners program.  All kid's in grades 4 - 7 are welcome.

Preparing to Peruse a Paper Pyramid

Next month we're starting to read The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan in Kid's Korner.  For those who liked The Lightning Thief or just love different types of mythology, you should come check it out.  We start at 4pm every Wednesday and will continue until the story's over.

Flying paranoia list

So, I'm going on a holiday trip and I decided to blog about airplane disaster books.  >hee, hee<  I have something of a twisted sense of humor sometimes.
