Dead Inside, Do Not Enter: Notes from the Zombie Apocalypse

"(Dead Inside, Do Not Enter) is part of an ongoing, collaborative, experimental storytelling project called Lost Zombies. Our goal is to create a fictional world where zombies exist and document that world in a range of media, including print and film. With the holidays upon us, it's been quite a challenge to get my reading in. Luckily, I've had a couple great reads to help me escape the stress that comes with the holidays.

Bram Stoker Award Winners

Every year, the Horror Writer's Association presents the Bram Stoker Awards. The criteria is based on superior works rather than the most popular titles. The 2011 Bram Stoker Award winners were announced in March of this year and we are now starting to get titles in our catalog. The 2011 Novel winner, Flesh Eaters by Joe McKinney, I'm particularly looking forward to reading as it's based in our very own Houston, Texas.

Listed below are some of the 2011 Bram Stoker Award winners I plan on checking out and hopefully you will too!

After a meeting with an infertility therapy group, Alex and Leslie get a tip from a fellow couple who've just conceived. They are told to visit a doctor in Slovenia and they will conceive, guaranteed. Alex and Leslie travel to Slovenia and meet with Dr. Kis.
