Banned Books Week – Teen Blackout Poetry September 25th @ 6 PM [13+]

Censorship has long been used by the powerful to limit the knowledge of others around them. It has been used in times of war to suppress any thoughts contrary to the war effort.

In the spirit of Banned Books Week, we are going to use censorship to create art. Join us in the library Teen Area for Blackout Poetry.

Create a poem by blacking out all of the words you don’t want to use in your poem. Censor with us on September 25th at 6 PM.
