The Parker Williams Branch Library has more dog and cat food available.

With Banned Books Week starting the next day, the Parker Williams Anime Club is going to explore the world of Psycho Pass, a place where your mental state is determined by the color of you hue.

STEM Time – Brick Films September 20th @ 5 PM [8+]

 

 

Just in time for the new Lego Ninjago Movie, STEM Time is going Hollywood.

Utilizing the iPads we have available, we are going to create some Lego Movie-esque Brick Films.

Join us (and L-Lloyd) in the Library Community Room on September 20th at 5 PM for a lesson in film, technology, and fun. 

Dog and Cat food at the Parker Williams Branch

The Parker Williams Branch Library has a small stockpile of emergency pet supplies from the Houston SPCA

All food is Hills Science Diet. Amount of food will depend on the amount of pets within the household while supplies last.

Adult - Advanced Fitness Chicken and Barley - 16 Cans

Senior - Youthful Vitality Chicken and Vegetable Stew - 7 Cans

Teen DIY and a Movie – Back to the Future (PG) and Flux Capacitors August 21st @ 3 PM [13+]

For the last day of summer, we are taking it back in time to end our 80s adventure movies throughout the summer.

We are going to building mini-flux capacitors while watching Back to the Future (PG) in the Library Community Room.

Community Craft – Plastic Bag Weaving August 18th @ 4-5 PM [8+]

 

In every pantry across the USA, there can be found a knot of plastic bags just taking up space.

What can we do about these bags?

Recycle! Learn some basic weaving techniques on August 18th as we turn what could be considered trash into an upcycled item.

Weave your way to the Library Community Room from 4-5 PM at the Parker Williams Branch Library.

3D printing has taken the library world by storm. For our August STEM Time, we are going to have an introduction to 3D printing.
