The under 50 over Program at Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us Friday, July 6th at 10:30 AM in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the First Floor.  Reference Librarian Jorie Nissen will present "Genealogy on a Budget.

July Adult Crafts-to-Go!

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library offers a new project for its “Crafts- to-Go!” program in conjunction with the Summer Reading Program.  This month, we're making a sunflower keychain (as seen on the right.) The project can be made anywhere. All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library, while supplies last.

Got Books? - Book Drive for Silver Award

Got Books?

Well, may we recommend donating all those extra books to a worthy cause? Clear Lake area Cadette Girl Scout Ria Sur is now collecting new or gently used books in order to earn her Silver Award. Ms. Sur looks forward to donating the collected books to Bay Area Turning Point. The drive will continue throughout the summer. Two tubs at Freeman (one on each floor) await donations!

Adult Programs this July @ your library

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us for our July Programs*.  We look forward to under50over, book clubs (mystery, great books, and two science fiction/fantasy clubs), Adult Crafts-to-Go, and Freeman Needlecrafters. Also, the Summer Reading Program continues all month.

All programming is supported by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Movie Day @ your library

Adults of all ages are invited to come to the under50over Movie Day this Friday. The title is to be announced. The movie will start at 10:15 am. Movie Day will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library.

Ray Bradbury and More in the Rotunda @ your library

Late author Ray Bradbury's contributions to contemporary literature are now on display in the Rotunda.  All books exhibited in the Rotunda are available for check out. We look forward to your next visit.
