Movie Day @ your library

Adults of all ages are invited to come to the under50over Movie Day this Friday. The title is to be announced. The movie will start at 10:15 am. Movie Day will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library.

Light refreshments are provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Ray Bradbury and More in the Rotunda @ your library

Late author Ray Bradbury's contributions to contemporary literature are now on display in the Rotunda.  All books exhibited in the Rotunda are available for check out. We look forward to your next visit.

June Adult Crafts-to-Go!

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library offers a new project for its “Crafts- to-Go!” program in conjunction with the Summer Reading Program.  This June, we're making a ”fishy scratch art” (as seen on the right.) The project can be made anywhere. All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library, while supplies last.

Adult Programs in June @ Your Library

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us for our June Programs*.  We look forward to under50over, book clubs (mystery, great books, and two science fiction/fantasy clubs), Adult Crafts-to-Go, Freeman Needlecrafters, and Movies & Mocktails. Also, the Summer Reading Program begins on Monday, June 4th.

All programming is supported by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Basket Weaving Demo in Internet Cafe

The under 50 over Program at Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us Friday, May 18th at 10:30 AM in the Internet Cafe on the First Floor.  We will be observing a basket weaving demonstration.

Do you know someone interested in learning or improving his or her English? Are you interested in being an ESL tutor? We're working on starting an English as a Second Language program here at the library, so let us know as soon as you're able if you would like to be part!
