Learn About Duties of the Constable's Office @ Your Library

The under 50over Program at Clear Lake City-County Freeman and the University of Houston-Clear Lake (CLASP) invite you to join us Friday, May 4th at 10:30 am in the Marge Jacobson Community Room. Chief Sandlin will present on "Duties of the Constable's Office: Protecting Your Home and Safety."

Adult Crafts-to-Go Celebrates Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month!

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library’s Adult “Crafts-to-Go!” program is kicking off the Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month celebration on May 1st.  Our project this month is an Origami Bookmark. On the back of the instructions, you can read about the history of origami. The Origami Bookmark project can be made anywhere. All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library, while supplies last.

May Adult Programs @ Your Library

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library looks forward to its May Programs*.  This includes under50over, book clubs (mystery, great books, and two science fiction/fantasy clubs), Adult Crafts-to-Go, and Freeman Needlecrafters. Also, we look forward to various celebrations of Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month. All programming is supported by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Movie Day - This Friday @ Your Library

Adults of all ages are invited to come to the under50over Movie Day this Friday. The title is to be announced. The movie will start at 10:15 am. Movie Day will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library.

Light refreshments are provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Learn How to Start a Small Business in Houston @ your library

The under 50over Program at Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us Friday, April 20th at 10:30 AM in the Marge Jacobson Community Room. A representative of the City of Houston’s One Stop Business Center speak on “Starting a Small Business. ”  They will provide basic information needed to start a small business and will be available for questions about small businesses in the Houston area.

April Adult Crafts-to-Go!

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library offers a new project for its “Crafts- to-Go!” program.  This April, we're making a "spring showers clip" (as seen on the right.) The project can be made anywhere. All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library, while supplies last.
