Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us in hearing Emilio Sarabia, Past President of the Tejano Association for Historical Preservation talk to us about Juan Seguin, a Tejano leader who took shelter in the Alamo in 1836 along with Bowie, Crockett, Travis and other Texians when General Santa Anna was advancing on San Antonio.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library will offer the “Adult Craft to Go” program beginning Wednesday, September 15th. Supplies will be designed to last through Friday, October 15th.

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library is offering the continuation of the Girl Scout “Interest Project: Exploration” program on Monday, October 11th at 4:30 pm. The workshop will feature work towards the “Family Living” Interest Project Award, helping older Girl Scouts to accomplish some of the steps towards the "Family Living" Interest Project Award. This workshop will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room which is on the first floor.

The program will provide legal tips including The Best Way To Hold Title To The Home And Protect It From Creditors; Use A Living Trust to Eliminate Probate Delays, Costs And Legal Fees as well as other legal topics. Mallie Daniel represents The Society for Financial Awareness, a 501c3 Non-Profit Education Speakers Bureau.
