Ring in the New Year with Programs for Adults @ Freeman!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us for our Adult Programs in January 2014*.  We will continue with TGIF Programs, various book clubs (mystery, great books, two science fiction/fantasy clubs, and YA Book Club for Adults (online)), Freeman Needlecrafters, Adult Crafts to Go, Clear Lake Area Writers (CLAW), and SCORE Counseling.

New Adult Crafts-to-Go Project!

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library’s Adult “Crafts-to-Go!” program will have a new project available starting the first Tuesday of the month – December 3. December’s project is a candy cane made of red and white beads (as seen on the right). All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library, while supplies last.

The Girl Scout Express Domino's Pizza Party originally scheduled on Saturday, December 7 from 12 to 2 PM has been canceled. 

Trivia Express Module #2 - The Victorian Era Has Arrived

Trivia Express has launched Module #2 – The Victorian Era! The Victorian Era can be researched by using resources from Harris County Public Library. The actual trivia challenge will be on a Google Drive maintained by Freeman Library Staff.

Registration Now Open for Girl Scout Express Event Series - Domino's Pizza Party!

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library will host its last Girl Scout Express Event Series program on Saturday, December 7th from 12 to 2 PM in the Children's Activity Space. Domino's Pizza is donating cheese pizzas for this event. We encourage Girl Scouts to bring canned goods to donate to Interfaith Caring Ministries.
