Streaming Music

Pudding Play Dough

It sounds good enough to eat, but you wouldn't. This week in preschool explorers we will be making pudding play dough with chocolate pudding, corn starch and a bit of oil. Each week we explore different ways to make this sensory experience. 


Green Thumb Gardening

Master Gardeners of Harris County will be here tomorrow, Saturday, January 16 at 10 am to share with us the way to compost and explain different soils. It's free.

Christmas Holiday Hours

The library will be closing at 5 pm Wednesday, December 23. We will remain closed Thursday-Sunday, reopening Monday December 28 at 1 pm. We wish you joy and peace this holiday season.

Baking Cookies is a Stem Activitity

The Pre-school Explorers baked gingerbread men today. The mixing, rolling, baking, smelling and eating provided the kids with lots of learning experience. Use this holiday season to explore the changing season and expand young minds with more then just toys.  

Butterfly Release

You've watched them change and now its time to let them go. On Wednesday, November 25 at 11:15 am we will release the butterflies in the preschool explorers class.

Local Literature

Join us on Saturday, October 24 from 12:30 -4:30 pm as we celebrate local authors. Authors will be here to discuss their latest works and read excerpts from their books. Attendees will be eligible for door prizes, and will also be able to purchase autographed copies of their books.

Bring the family out to experience the best of local literature!


Does It Add Up?

This week's Wednesday Wonders  STEAM program will focus on mathematics. Elementary school age students will play games and engaged in activities that relate to the ability to think and work with numbers. Program runs 4:45- 5:30 pm.
