The Friends of the Library had a successful Plant and Book Sale last weekend. A special thanks to all the volunteers who made this possible. Thanks also to all the donors of plants and books, and to Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant for providing refreshments.
Ann Thompson will present a preview of Mozart's Marriage of Figaro on Monday, April 4, 7pm. Join us for this free, fun presentation. Friends of the Library are presenting their annual Plant & Book Festival on Friday, March 25 10am-5pm and Saturday, March 26 10am-4pm. Plants of every kind & color are available. The many books include something for everyone. Consider coupons from 60 area restaurants and businesses. Sweet Tomatoes will serve complimentary refreshments.
While the Friends of the Library accept book donations all year, now is the time to donate for their annual sale. With the sale coming up Fri-Sat. March 25-26 they are working hard now to get everything ready. This week consider donating gently used books to make room for the bargains you will pick up at the sale.
Wear your superhero costume and come for a good time. Thurday, Mar. 17, 4pm-5pm. Crafts, quizzes, food. Ages Kindergarten - 5th grade. If you don't have superhero gear, come anyway. You don't want to miss the fun.
