Genealogy

Working on your family tree?  Try using the databases available through the website.  Just click on datatbases, Genealogy, and you will be able to access Heritage Quest remotely by using your library card number.  You will be able to search categories such as the Census 1790-1930, Revolutionary War, and even the Freedman's Bank.  Also plan to come by the library to continue your search in the database Ancestry.com which has numerous genealogical databases such as U.S. Immigration, Jewish Family History, and birth, marriage & death records.

Toys for Tots

Toys for TotsThis holiday season consider making a child smile by donating a new, unwrapped toy by December 17th.  The U.S. Marines' Toys For Tots program will distribute them to needy children in the Houston area.
