Adult Drawing Winner

Adult SRP WinnerSusan Brown won the drawing for a gift card from Amazon in the Adult Summer Reading Program.  She is a life-long reader who grew up in Spring Branch area using the Ring Library. She enjoys reading fiction and memoirs and keeps a list of everything she reads.  She even co-founded a book club several years ago.  This is her first time to participate in the Summer Reading Club but it won't be the last.   Congratulations Susan!

Contest WinnerYA Art ContestTeens enjoyed creating pictures with markers and pencils.  Pizza and Dr. Pepper rounded out the day.  Contest was won by Aryelle Hatfield.  All artwork is currently on display on a library bulletin board.

All Kinds of Pond Animals!

Houston Audubon E.L. Moore Nature SanctuaryLife in a PondEveryone enjoyed seeing the animals, puppets and skeletons.  Several families are planning to visit the Houston Audubon E.L. Moore Sanctuary.

Exploring Egypt

EgyptEgyptA trained museum docent will take us on an Egyptian exploration trip with real Museum artifacts and specimen!  Presented by the Houston Museum of Natural Science.  Date: Tuesday, Aug 6, 3:00pm and repeated 4:00pm.  Ages 5 and up.  40 tickets will be given out 30 minutes before each show.
