Pokemon Club @NChannel Library!

Calling all Pokemon lovers! Don't miss this Saturday, March 19 from 3 to 4pm  when the Pokemon Club will meet again. This month we'll be making a "Peepachu Treat" for the upcoming holiday! Ages 6 and up are encouraged to bring their cards, DS gaming devices or other Pokemon supplies to play, trade and show... Free refreshments too!

Children's Games of the 1800's & the Pony Express!

Callin' all cowpokes, cowboys, and cowgals! Mosey on down to North Channel Library this Wednesday, February 24 at 4:30pm when we'll host the Houston Rodeo's special presentation of "Children's Games of the 1800's and the Pony Express"! The Speaker's Bureau will provide interactive games and a historical themed craft activity too. Gather 'round the Children's Area for this rip roarin' program if yer ages 4 and up...

Valentine Fun @ North Channel!

  Will you be our Valentine? Join us and create your own fun foam, "Valentine Caterpillar or Butterfly Treat Craft",  this Wednesday, February 10 at 4:30 pm. We will supply all materials needed. We'll meet in the Public Meeting Room. Recommended for children 4-12 years.

Preschool Storytime

Parents, do your children like stories? Or would like to help your child with early literacy? Then join us for our weekly Storytime, every Tuesday at 1:30pm. Monday Movie: Goosebumps!

Do you like R. L. Stine and the Goosebumps series? Then this month's Monday Movie is for you! Find out if a teenager who teams up with R.L. Stines's daughter can put a stop to the spooky happenings in Madison, Delaware, that were released from the writer's imagination...This new release is Rated PG. Movie length is 1hour and 43 minutes. We'll show this feature on our big screen in the Public Meeting Room. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Polliwog Club @ North Channel Library

  Do you like animals? Deussen Park's Traveling Naturalist will be here at North Channel Branch for a first Spring visit with  "Inside/Out Animals",  where you will learn about specialized animal parts and have the opportunity to touch live animals too!" The fun starts Tuesday, January 19 at 1:30pm in the Public Meeting Room. Monday Movie @ the Library

Looking for entertainment before school's back in swing? Then come on over this Monday, January 4  at 2:30pm in the Public Meeting Room for a Children's Movie - Minions! Tween Time:Game Day!

 Calling all board gamers!  Join us Wednesday, December 30 at 2:30pm for Tween Time when we'll play traditional games and enjoy refreshments. We have a few new additions to our collection, so don't miss out on the fun! Games include Kerplunk, Battleship, Chutes and Ladders, Operation Shrek, Jenga, Connect Four, Candy Land and more...This program is recommended for ages 10- 12 years. Would you like to make a holiday craft for family or friends? Then join us Tuesday at 4:30pm when a local Girl Scout Troop will lead us in an easy activity. All materials will be provided and we'll meet in the Public Meeting Room. For ages 4 and up please.
