TEENS: Comic Pencil Bag Craft on 8/4

School starts up in less than a month—but let’s not think about that. Instead, let’s think about creating an awesome comic pencil bag out of duct tape—it’ll actually zip! You don’t have to store pencils for school in it—it also makes a great gadget bag for midnight crime fighting! Join us on Tuesday, August 4 from 3:00-4:00.

Calling all anime and manga fans! Beat the Texas heat with an anime marathon on Friday, June 26 from 3:00-5:00 PM in the Meeting Room. We'll watch anime the entire two hours while eating snacks and cooling down from outside!

Calling all Percy Jackson fans!  Create your own Camp Half-blood necklace from the Percy Jackson series on Tuesday, June 23 from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Teen Area. Create beads from the books and even your own special 2015 Summer Reading bead!

TinkerCad 3D Design Class

Due to popular demand, we have created a second TinkerCad 3D Printer Design class on Friday, June 19 from 2:00-4:00. In the class, teens will learn how to create a free TinkerCad account and get started on their own design that will be printed on the 3D Printer when it visits the Kingwood Library the week of July 13!

TEENS: Superhero Selfie Craft

Ever wish you could be a superhero? Now you can! Create your own superhero sound effect props and have a photo shoot with our Unmask! summer reading display. You can be Batman or have your own battle with friends! Join us in the Teen Area on Tuesday, June 16 from 3-4 PM.

TEENS: Harry Potter Wands

The wand chooses the wizard--in this case, you can make your own! Stop by the Teen Area on June 9 between 2:00 and 4:00 to create your very own Harry Potter wand.

Unmask! Summer Reading for Teens

The Teen Summer Reading Program starts this Monday, June 1 and runs through Saturday, August 8! What is Summer Reading? It’s the time of the year when you win prizes by reading books!
