TEENS: Mini Piñatas

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and make a Mini Piñata! The craft is tomorrow, Saturday, September 27 @ 2:30 PM. TEENS: Teen Advisory Group

Looking to help out the library? Want to earn community service hours? Need something else to put on college and scholarship applications? Check out T.A.G., the Kingwood Library’s Teen Advisory Group. This meeting meets the 4th Monday of each month during the school year at 6:30 PM for an hour to help brainstorm ideas, prepare for programs, and come up with awesome library displays. This month's T.A.G.

Kingwood Library is hosting its 2nd annual Local Craft Groups Meet and Greet! This is a come-and-go program on Saturday, August 9th, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Genealogy: FamilySearch Open Lab

Research your family history! Join us on Thursday, July 31st at 7:00 PM for one-on-one help on FamilySearch, a great tool for researching genealogy. You will learn how to set up a FamilySearch account and get started on your own family history.

NASA has come to Kingwood!

The International Space Station is orbiting around HCPL, and it is currently in Kingwood! Stop by the second floor to check out a scale model display of the ISS, courtesy of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NASA representatives will also be at the library this Monday, June 30th only! They'll discuss what it's like to live and work on the International Space Station.
