Have you ever seen a 3D printer in action? We will have a 3D printer class at the Northwest Branch Library on Tuesday, March 17th at 4:00! Come learn about this new technology, and what it means for the worlds of science, technology, art, and entertainment so that you're one step ahead when this technology becomes more readily available in the near future!

Teen Engineering Challenge II

What do they have in common? They are the best archers around! And if you come to the Engineering Challenge II, you can take your first step to walking amongst them! Teens and Tweens, come Thursday, March 12th at 2:30 where we will create miniature bows and arrows using only the supplies pictured. See you then!

Teens and tweens, Join us Tuesday, March 10th at 2:30 for our Engineering Challenge. We’ll explore the laws of Physics by using air pressure to launch rockets we’ll make ourselves. See if you can make a stylish yet aerodynamic rocket that’ll fly higher than all the others!

Turn your favorite fandom into an 8 bit piece of art! Join us for a perler bead craft Thursday, February 26th at 4:30pm. This program is for teens and tweens ages 12-18 or in grades 6-12. 

Shrinky Dink Art

   Teens, come test your skills at shrinky dinks as we create unique masterpieces! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hey Teen Gamers!

 

Join us on Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 6:00pm at the Northwest Branch Library for Game Day Frenzy! We will munch on snacks and play video games. Also, if you own a console in the Nintendo 3DS family, bring it along and play alongside other people. Teen Volunteering

 

Want to volunteer this summer? Are you in middle school or high school? Well, Teen Volunteer Training is a must for you! On June 11th at 5:00, you can find out what it takes to be a volunteer at the library. We will cover your responsibilities and what you can expect when you arrive. This training is mandatory for all volunteers, and would look amazing on your college applications! See you there!

Catching Fire Life Sized Board Game

Are you a Hunger Games fan? Join us at the Northwest Branch Library as we play a life-sized board game, based on Suzanne Collins' book Catching Fire, book 2 of the Hunger Games trilogy on October 23 at 3:00 pm. Play your way across the room by answering trivia questions to earn character cards. The first to collect the set wins, but beware of the black spaces, for almost certain death awaits those who land there! For more information call 281-890-2665.
