Be a Hero! Help Us Collect Soda Bottles!

Soda BottleWe are in the process of collecting materials for our fantastic summer reading program, "Every Hero Has a Story".  One of our craft projects this summer is to recycle 2 liter soda bottles into a fun game!  Can you help us collect bottles for this craft? Just drop off clean, un-crushed bottles at the circulation desk any time we are open.  Thanks for being a hero!

What would you make if you were limited only by time and imagination?  Come and see some of the things that have already been made with the 3-D printers at the Harris County Public Library and learn more about this amazing technology! The demonstration will be held Saturday, April 25th at 2:00 pm in the Meeting Room.

The Crosby Branch Library will have its annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 31st at 10:30 am. We will read stories and then hunt for eggs! After collecting the eggs, light refreshments will be served. Bringing a basket from home is helpful, but not required.

Free popcorn and drinks!

Fall is in the Air....

Mom and child readingThe weather is cooler and the big kids are at school.  It's a great time of year to acquaint your little ones with all the great resources we have for them at the library!  In addition to story times and picture books, we have board books, music CD's and videos that will delight both children and their caregivers.
