Holiday Crafting @ the Crosby Branch Library

Christmas BallsThe holidays are almost here and we have fun crafts planned for kids of all ages!

On Saturday, December 2, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, we will be making Mini Christmas Trees out of pinecones. This craft will be in the Children's area and is for ages 6-9.

On Monday, December 4, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, we will decorating Christmas Cookies like a pro. Guest Vasso Espinosa, who teaches Culinary Arts at Galena Park, will teach partipants how to use decorating tips. This craft is for ages 11 and up.

 On Saturday, December 16, from 10:30 - 11;30 am, we will make Bath Fizzies--perfect for   last minute gift giving or a little relaxing treat for yourself! This craft is for ages 10 and up.

Moody Gardens Presents: Experience the Rain Forest

Rain forest displayCome and join us for this afterschool program with a special guest from Moody Gardens! This interactive program will engage kids of all ages using the senses of seeing, hearing, touching and smelling. This fun and educational program is on Tuesday, September 26, from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the library's meeting room.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Crosby Library

Easter Eggs in grassThe Crosby Branch Library will have its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Tuesday, April 11th at 10:30am. We will read stories and then hunt for eggs! Bringing a basket from home is helpful, but not necessary. Come and join the fun!

Adult Coloring at the Library

Colorful rectangleCome and relax and have fun coloring while listening to music! We supply all the materials and music, however, you may bring your own supplies from home if you wish. The fun starts at 4:00, Monday, January 23 and is being held in the library's meeting room.

LEGO WeDo Robotics for Everyone

Lego ModelDo you enjoy Legos?  Are you interested in computers? Then we have a program for you! We are expanding our Lego Robotics program this year to two levels:

Basic: For ages 6-9. No experience necessary. Come and build the model you see here, and then use computer coding to make it move! Monday, January 9 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. Sign up at the front desk or online here.
