Summer Volunteers Needed!

Hi everyone! We are almost in mid-May. Summer is fast approaching. Parents, do you have a teen who is at least 16 years of age? Does your teen need something to do over the summer break? Consider volunteering at the Aldine Library! Volunteering teaches teens the importance of community service. Also, volunteering can sometimes be a part of both high school graduation requirements and scholarship applications.

Adults are welcome to volunteer, too!

A volunteer orientation will be held on May 16th from 5-6 PM.  Please join us!

Learn the Language and the Culture

Join us as we celebrate Asian Pacific Heritage Month at the Aldine Library.

Ms. Erin Hong, who operates Houston's Charm Chinese School, will present a program about Asian culture on Thursday, May 12th at 6 PM. In addition, she will teach us some Chinese words & phrases!

Don't miss out on the fun.

It can help you relax. Also, coloring reduces stress and boosts mental clarity. Come join us. Feel calmer and happier each week as we color.
