St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica

On Tuesday 8/14 the #KingwoodLibrary accompanied the #HarrisCounty Precinct 4 Fun4Seniors to the St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica in Beaumont. The group learned about the history of the parish as well as the beautiful art and development of the #basilica in a docent guided tour. 

Fun4Seniors is operated by Harris County Precinct 4 Senior Adult Program and is open to ages 50 years and older. Transportation is free to and from Kingwood Branch Library. For registration, payment, and event information please contact Fun4Seniors by calling 281-893-3726.

Keyboard, Violin, Song and Dance

The #KingwoodLibrary was treated to some special guests on Saturday 7/20. Sherry Cheng and her daughter, Alice kept the music playing. The mother and daughter team delighted the audience with their keyboard and violin playing. The music made some of us want to get up and dance!
