Feeling Good

New books are arriving at the Aldine Library! One of the new titles is Feeling Good Together by David D. Burns, MD. Dr. Burns is also the author of the bestseller Feeling Good: the New Mood Therapy. Both books deal with cognitive behavioral therapy, a form of treatment that explores patterns of thinking that lead to self-destructive actions. The idea is that in examining the beliefs that direct their thoughts, people can then modify their patterns of thinking to improve the way they cope with problems. Come take a look at these titles by Dr.
