END OF SUMMER PARTY!!!!

Hey boys and girls! The Reading Express is pulling into the station. It's time for the End of Summer Party. Join us Thursday, August 5 at 2:00 pm for a fantastic wrap up to a marvelous summer. Entertainment will be provided by Mr. Bill Wiatrak. Certificates will be given out and refreshments will be on hand as well. What a great way to wrap up the Summer Reading Program!

ANNUAL SUMMER VARIETY SHOW

TROPICAL RAINFOREST PROGRAM

Join us Thursday July 22 at 2:00 pm for a terrific program about the endangered rainforests. Learn intriguing facts in this highly interactive program presented by Texas Master Naturalist Mary Vogas. Recommended for 6 or older.

Unlike Pinocchio, these marionettes do have strings. Come join us Thursday afternoon July 15 at 2:00 pm for a performance of Rumpelstiltskin by Jean Kuecher's Marionette Playhouse. Fun for all!

You know it's not too late to sign up for any of the three summer reading programs. The Adult, Teen and Children's programs have a spot waiting just for you. So go online at www.hcpl.net and get started. You can also do it while you are at the library. Summer has a lot of days left. So stay cool and read.

THE SOURDOUGH COWBOY VISITS LA PORTE LIBRARY
