Summer Reading Program

Join us for a super summer of reading from June 1 to August 8 with the Summer Reading Program for children and adults of all ages. Create your summer reading logs at www.hcpl.net or come into the library to get started. "Every Hero Has a Story" is the theme for babies and younger readers with a free book and certificate of recognition for each child who completes 10 books. "Unmask" is the theme for teen readers (ages 12-18) with a backpack for completing five books. "Escape the Ordinary" is the theme for adults with a water bottle prize for completing five books. Ask about our "Hero's Quest" to earn online badges!

Heroes, Superheroes & Villains

Journey into the world of heroes and superheroes through music, magic and puppets!

Time: 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Ages: For ages 5+                                  

 

Children will be seated first and must be able to sit through program on their own.

Space is limited, free tickets will be distributed 30 minutes prior to program.

Program will be held outdoors, weather permitting.

Birds! Books and Beyond!

Soar into the world of birds and discover how amazing our feathered friends truly are!

Presented by The Houston Audubon Society, this program will feature live birds, bird songs and dance, fun books to look at and much more!

 

Free program! Tickets will be given out 30 minutes before program.

Join the fun on Tuesday, June 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and meet all the animals visiting Spring Branch-Memorial Library! A great kick-off to Summer Reading Program!
