It's officially Noshember so put down your razors.

beard

It's that time of year again where we put down our razors for a month and let the hair grow! Welcome to Noshember! That's right; it's a no-shave November.

Take a look around, and while this is not an official holiday, you will notice many men sprouting facial hair this month and women not shaving their legs as they partake in Noshember. The rules are simple:

1. Stow the razors for a month.

2. Let the hair grow!

3. Take a picture at the end of the month to celebrate your completion of Noshember.

Kroger check at Northwest branch library

Northwest Library was recently presented with a check from Kroger’s Community Rewards Program. The Northwest Friends Of The Library, in conjunction with Kroger’s Community Rewards Program has earned over $2,500.00 for our library in the last year.

Thank you to all of our dedicated patrons who used their Kroger’s Plus Card to donate a portion of their Kroger's purchases to for the library.

Donations go to fund projects in our library like our camel ride, story times, furniture, and supplies for our library. So thank you all once again for helping the Northwest library. Your support and dedication enrich our community.
