I know you are not supposed to judge a book by its cover but I do! If we weren’t supposed to why would publishers spend so much time, effort and money on making them look like eye candy?  I have found a lot of really great authors this way. My newest treasure is Susan Mallery. I just finished Irresistible, the cover caught my eye.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to knit? If so, stop by the library on Saturday afternoon! At 1:30 PM we will have our second Craft & Go of the Summer. Come to the information desk and we will give you a kit that will help get you started (supplies are limited). Knitting is a fun and relaxing pastime and you get the extra added bonus of making some really cool things!

Jane Porter likes to write love stories that are witty and fun with happy endings and I love to read them! She has written, Mrs. Perfect, Odd Mom Out, Flirting with Forty and Easy on the Eyes. Flirting with Forty, was also made into a very popular movie starring Heather Locklear. Jane’s website is packed with so much information and I love her “Janeblog,” of course my favorite is the “I Wish I Was a Librarian” blog!
