This week I am reading Eloisa James’s novels. I have a nice big stack to keep me happy and content over this rainy weekend!

What do you know about Eloisa James? She writes historical romance and is a New York Times bestselling author. Her books are addicting and she makes you fall in love with her characters.

The Bear Creek Book Club met on Wednesday, March 3rd and discussed the book My Antonia by Willa Cather. They will meet again On April 7th at 7 pm to discuss The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.

Linda Lael Miller’s new series has started off with a big bang. Mckettricks of Texas: Tate, the first book in a series that brings us a whole new set of McKettrick men, was smoking! If you haven’t already, you should check out Grace Lillevig’s post, Behind The Scenes of a Cover Shoot. Even if you have seen it, you should go ahead and give it another look -- it’s worth it!

Have you had a chance to check out our fantastic window art? Come and see the latest and greatest art work by our very own Sunyoung Park! She has created a magical window display for Read Across America which is celebrated on March 2nd. Sunyoung has an Art Degree from the University of Texas-Austin. When she is not working away diligently at the library she is dreaming of someday painting a mural on the ceiling of the public restrooms. Sunyoung has visited Alaska and Hawaii.

  Suzanne Brockmann has written many great books but I just love her Troubleshooters series. Her books are hot and sexy and full of action, always a great combination. I also love that there are 15 titles in this series, enough to keep you satisfied for a while! My very favorite of the series is Out of Control, Navy Seal Ken “WildCard” Karmody is the perfect hero.

Friends of the Bear Creek Open House
