Raines of Wind Canyon

Currently I am hooked on Kat Martin’s Raines of Wind Canyon series.  I had Against the Wind in my “waiting to be read” stack and for whatever reason I kept passing it over.  I finally picked it up and it did not take long for me to be hooked!  The series is set in Wyoming and Arizona and it is about the Raines brothers who despite their rough beginnings turn into successful and honorable men.  If you are a fan of Linda Lael Miller’s works you will enjoy this series. For more information check out Kat Martin's website.

Plum Anyone?

Yes I know they are found in the mystery section but the romance in these books is not to be ignored.  I certainly don’t read them for the mystery, I read them because of Ranger and Morelli and Stephanie Plum.  There is always some sizzle when these three are involved.  I read the reviews of this book and they were mixed so I was a little wary.  I was a little worried that Evanovich would not be able to deliver; after all this is number 17 in the series.  But as a true fan of Ms.

I'm looking for a new author!

My favorite authors are not producing fast enough for me and I guess that is understandable.  So…… I’m on the hunt for new authors with lots of books already written so I can feast.  Where do you find your newest fix?  Do you use NoveList or New York Times Book Review or one of the many other websites dedicated to new books?  Most of the new authors I try are because someone told me about them.  I love it when people come in to the library and tell me what they think of a book they just read.  Readers love to share a great read, I know I do! Who do you like?  Who should I try next?
